Rony Nachef is a renowned hairdresser and teacher with over 20 years of experience in the hairdressing industry. Born in Lebanon, he began his career at the age of 13, quickly developing a passion for the art of hairdressing. After studying at the prestigious Laflame Academy, present in 27 countries, Rony began teaching at the age of 18. His talent and dedication led him to work with international superstars and renowned television channels like MBC, where he honed his craft and earned a reputation for excellence.

In 2006, Rony moved to Canada, where he continued to share his know-how and passion for hairdressing. In 2020, he founded NYM Academy, a project inspired by his three daughters, Noor, Yara, and Maya, whose initials form the academy’s name. With over 2300 students trained over the course of his career, Rony is committed to providing quality education, combining theory and practice, to prepare the next generation of hairdressers and barbers. Today, he is working on ambitious projects, such as the opening of a new branch in Laval and the launch of a range of 22 high-end hair products.
